Oblate Clay
Located in San Antonio’s Shearer Hills/Ridgeview neighborhood and near the Quarry, Oblate Clay is owned by veteran Scott Beatty, who has over fifteen years of teaching experience. The studio's mission is to foster a community that values craftsmanship and creativity, and the studio itself is designed to provide practical necessities, collaborative resources, and artistic inspiration. With well-equipped workstations and a wide variety of clays and glazes, every aspect of the studio is curated to encourage exploration and growth in the art of ceramics. The owner's background in education offers a unique perspective, ensuring that each participant receives personalized guidance and support, ultimately creating a nurturing, collaborative environment for artistic development.
